HACMP – Remove resource group

remove resoruce group:

1. bring rg offiline

remove from dependency first:

smitty ->

hacmp>

Cluster Applications and Resources->Resource Groups->

Configure Resource Group Run-Time Policie->

Configure Dependencies between Resource Groups->

Configure Parent/Child Dependency->

Remove Parent/Child Dependency between Resource Group

Then choose: emasccs_rg                        app5_rg

Remove

smitty ->

hacmp>

Cluster Applications and Resources->Resource Groups->

Configure Resource Group Run-Time Policie->

Configure Dependencies between Resource Groups->

Configure Online on the Same Node Dependency->

Remove Online on the Same Node Dependency Between Resource Groups->

Remove Online on the Same Node Dependency Between Resource Groups->

[Entry Fields]

* Resource Groups to be Online on the same node      [app1_rg app2_rg app3_rg app4_rg app_rg db_rg emasccs_> + (remove app4_rg)

reove app control

smitty ->

hacmp>

Cluster Applications and Resources->Resource Groups->

Remove a Resource Group->

Command: OK            stdout: yes           stderr: no Before command completion, additional instructions may appear below. clrmgrp: Group name app5_rg removed from HACMPgroup Class.
