HACMP – ADD NEW HARDDISK TO EXISTING VG

set pvid before add harddisk to VG

chdev -l hdisk11 -a pv=yes

System Management (C-SPOC)->Storage->  Volume Groups-> Set Characteristics of a Volume Group->

Add a Volume to a Volume Group->chose hdisk11

VOLUME GROUP name                                   appvg

Resource Group Name                                 emasccs_rg

Node List                                           emasccs01,emasccs02

VOLUME names                                        hdisk11

Physical Volume IDs                                 00f7e57022f3d9d6
